Afternoon Kindergarten Program
The Lansing Kindergarten
curriculum, based on the Ministry of Education's guidelines, teaches life
skills in the early years that help promote inner self-discovery and
self-worth. Your child's sense of wonder and imagination will be
challenged as we journey through a balance of science, technology,
language, math, art, music, physical and social development.
Lansing's low teacher-child ratio
(maximum 1:8) ensure that your child will receive the individualized
attention that will enable him/her to attain full intellectual,
physical, creative and social growth. Through a variety of stimulating
theme-based activities, your child will learn language, mathematics,
science and technology which will create a foundation for your child's
future learning.
Our
licensed nursery school offers an afternoon Junior/Senior
Kindergarten for children aged 4 to 6 years old, from 1:00 pm to 3:30
pm, 5 afternoons a week. An optional Lunch Time program
(bag lunch from home, rest time and outdoor play) is available. And we
also offer a a daily pick-up from McKee public school if needed.
The school runs from September to
June, closing for all public school holidays.
We are now for the 2009-2010
school year! Contact the school for more
