Morning Nursery School Program
The Nursery Program focuses in
Outdoor Play, Free Play, Circle time and Snack Time. During free play,
both indoors and out, the children are able to choose from a variety of
activities which might include: sand and water play, block building,
art activities, dramatic play, puzzles, play dough, and gross motor
activities. During the period of group learning, the children will
focus on language, math and science through stories, music, cooking and
games. And sitting with their friends and teacher the children share
(and sometimes cook) a nutritious nut free snack, while gaining a sense
of community.
Children finish the morning
outside (dressed and ready to go). Parents can speak to one another (or
the teachers), or may simply take pleasure in watching their children
play with their friends.
Our
licensed nursery school offers a morning nursery school program for
children aged 2 ½ to 4 years old, from 9:00 am to 11:20 am. Parents can
choose from 3, 4 or 5 day enrollment with an option of duty day
participation.
The school runs from September to
June, closing for all public school holidays.
We are now for the 2009-2010
school year! Contact the school for more
